A Surprise New Years Gift




Here are five sketches of scenes very familiar in Laos.  Try to copy them.  Then see if you can make up a story about what you’ve just drawn.  If you need help, just ask an elder Kmhmú.  They might even tell you a story that the drawing makes them think about.   What a special gift - to begin to sketch - and so to celebrate your Kmhmú tradition.
